FAQ
Yes. The Arlo Bed includes a mattress designed to work with the rotating bed frame. It also comes with two removable side rails, a safety belt, two wired remote controls, a memory foam pillow, and one sheet set.
No. The Arlo Bed is currently available in one size, similar to a Twin XL home-care bed. It does not come in queen size at this time. The size is designed to support the rotating function, side rails, caregiver access, and in-home setup.
No. The Arlo Bed currently comes in one standard color/design. We do not offer additional color options at this time.
The Orin Bed supports users up to 450 lbs. For the best fit and user experience, we recommend it for users who are at least 4'9" tall and 88 lbs or above.
Yes. The Arlo Bed includes two removable side rails. They are designed to provide added support and a more secure feeling during daily use.
No. The Arlo Bed does not include massage or heating features.
The Arlo Bed is best for seniors, people with limited mobility, and families who need a care-focused bed at home. It is especially helpful for users who have difficulty getting in and out of bed and for caregivers who want to make daily transfers easier.
The Arlo Bed may not be the best fit for users who require full mechanical lifting, continuous clinical monitoring, or specialized medical positioning prescribed by a healthcare professional. It is designed for home-care support and daily comfort, not as a replacement for professional medical equipment or medical care.
Left Turn or Right Turn is based on the user’s left or right side while lying on the bed. Choose Left Turn if the user should exit from their left side while lying down. Choose Right Turn if the user should exit from their right side while lying down.
If you are not sure which side to choose, please contact us before ordering. We can help you confirm the best option based on the room layout, doorway, caregiver access, and where the user needs to stand up.
Yes. The Arlo Bed is designed to be relatively easy to assemble with the included parts and instructions. However, because the bed ships in large and heavy cartons, we recommend having at least two adults available for self-installation.
For customers who prefer not to handle the setup themselves, White Glove Delivery and installation may be available.
As soon as your order is ready, we will send you a "Ready for Pickup" email to let you know. If you place an order while the store is open, it will typically be ready for pickup within a few hours. If you place an order after your selected store has closed, your order will typically be ready for pickup shortly after the store opens the next morning. Store hours may vary by location.
White Glove Delivery is an optional service that usually includes in-home delivery, assembly of the Orin Bed, placement in the requested room, basic function demonstration, and packaging removal.
Availability and pricing may vary by ZIP code, home access, stairs, elevator availability, room location, and local service provider availability.
White Glove Delivery does not automatically include moving, removing, or disposing of old furniture. If you need an existing bed, mattress, or furniture moved, please contact us before ordering so we can confirm availability and any additional cost.
In many cases, yes. However, upstairs installation depends on the home layout, stair width, turns, hallway space, and the ability to safely move the cartons and bed components into the room.
Before confirming White Glove Delivery, we may ask for details such as the setup floor, stairs, elevator access, narrow hallways, tight turns, and any obstacles.
Delivery time may vary depending on your location, carrier transit time, and whether White Glove Delivery is selected.
For standard delivery without White Glove service, delivery usually takes about 3–5 business days after shipment.
If you choose White Glove Delivery, the process may take about 2 additional days because the bed may first ship to a local service partner. After the service partner receives the shipment, they will contact you to schedule the in-home delivery and setup appointment.
For the most accurate timeline, please contact us with your ZIP code before placing the order.
No. The Arlo Bed does not currently include a remote family monitoring app. It is operated with wired remote controls. If remote check-ins are needed, some families use a separate home camera or caregiver monitoring system.
No. The Arlo Bed is not a Hi-Lo hospital bed and does not raise or lower the entire bed frame. It is designed to support caregivers through its rotating transfer function, adjustable back and leg positioning, side rails, and wired remote controls.
Yes. Two Arlo Beds can be placed side by side if the room has enough space. Each bed is about 39" wide, so two beds together are about 78" wide before allowing extra space for caregiver access and side rail movement.
The Arlo Bed is heavy and is not designed to be moved frequently. If the bed needs to be repositioned, we recommend having help available and avoiding rollers or sliders that may affect stability during use.
